Somebody on the Facebook "Old School Gamers" Group asked about Dungeon Masters.
Should they be "All Powerful", or merely Story Tellers and Referees.
My response - The Good ones are all three, without your Players realizing the first one even matters . . . . .
Anyone else got any thoughts??

Actually. That is pretty damn good answer.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tim, its the model I've always aspired to. I've always found its easier to keep control of a game if your players trust you, if you throw your weight around - they rarely do.
ReplyDeleteYeah.
ReplyDeleteI had typed a bunch of things here, but in the end I really couldn't say it any better than you already did.
Know your rules, know your players and have a good game.
