A New (not) Dungeons & Dragons Edition.

I've just had a thought - just like Microsoft was with Windows Vista, its looking more and more as if WotC is very worried about the popularity4th Edition (not) Dungeons & Dragons.

Microsoft very quickly realized the problems with Vistas appeal and its marketing and have within a relatively short space of time produced Windows 7!

I makes me wonder if (not) Dungeons & Dragons 4.5 or 5.0 is looming somewhere upon the horizon!?!?!?!?!

    I doubt it. I think it is much more likely that TPTB will provide a ever expanding variety of options in the PHB and DMG III, IV, V, and VI to cater to a variety of styles. Besides, I haven't heard anything to say that 4e isn't still selling well.

    Hi again David.

    Here in the UK I am regularly in contact with Wholesalers and several retail outlets, its sold around half the total number of Units as 3.5 did. Whereas some of the drop will be people moving onto other hobbies, thats a LOT lower than anyone anticipated.
